All students are encouraged to take part in the school show which encompasses all the dance styles and drama taught within the studio from pre-school upwards. We believe that performance is an integral part of our study programme and teaches students all important stage skills, the most effective way they can be learned - by treading the boards.
The school show is a fun event which requires lots of hard work, dedication and team effort; it enables students to bring what they have technically learnt in class onto the stage in front of an audience. Stage work improves student's confidence and self-esteem long after the show ends. Performance work is yet another aspect of training for dance and musical theatre drama and singing; students have great fun learning about costumes, stage hair and make-up.
We produce a show which encompasses all students regardless of ability and without audition where they learn about the importance of rehearsal and presentation combined with a keen sense of performance all within the magical world of the theatre.
Our main show is performed at the Bacon Theatre in Cheltenham and the experience of dancing at such a large venue is both an exciting and exhilarating experience.
Parents Open Week
Parents are welcome to watch all classes on the last week of the autumn and summer term. Parents are encouraged to watch classes to see their child's progress and also give students an opportunity to perform in house.
